Football clubs accumulate a lot of money, thanks to their dedicated fans. This has led to them getting amazing deals from TV networks, and sponsors are often willing to pay any amount to be associated with these football clubs. But which of the many clubs enjoy most of this money?
Real Madrid or Barcelona? The Most Valuable Team
Currently, Real Madrid has a sponsorship deal with Providence Equity that allows the club to earn £199.3 million for the first four years since the signing of the agreement. In the previous season, Barcelona entered a £219 million shirt sponsorship deal with Rakuten, a Japanese e-commerce group. In the same year, Barcelona started a ten-year Nike kit agreement that will bring in at least £155 million annually.
The Champions League is also attracting a lot of money, particularly from media deals. In a couple of new contracts and sponsorships, the league broke its own recording by accumulating £2.03 billion in the 2018/2019 season. This marked a 30% increase in earnings from the previous season. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur earned the most of this money at £102 million and £104.92 million respectively.

In broadcasting value, Real Madrid proved to be the most valued team followed by Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City. In team brand value during the same season, Real Madrid still dominated the charts followed by Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
